LOCATION: Milton Keynes

JOB TITLE: 1st / 2nd Line Windows Support Engineer

SALARY & BENEFITS: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30. Overtime will be available.

We are pleased to be working with a well-established IT Support Company in Milton Keynes. The company provides outsourced support to their clients through remote support and work carried out by Field Engineers. Our client works with a variety of customers spanning a range of industries and are now looking to grow their service desk team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, yet growing company with real scope. Our client is looking for a 1st / 2nd Line Windows Support Engineer to be office based looking after the clients remotely. This position will involve providing professional, reactionary and proactive IT Support to the company's customers in many different industries.

Key Responsibilities of a 1st / 2nd Line Windows Support Engineer to include:

Taking customer support calls and resolving issues remotely.

Engaging with a variety of customers from different industries.
-

Using remote software tools to log onto customer networks to resolve server and client issues.

THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and really take ownership of this position. Ideally you will have a good level of experience in a 1st Line Support Role looking for that next step in your career.

Essential Criteria:

-

A good working knowledge of installing, recovering and configuring Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012, and exchange 2007 / 2010 / 2013.

Flexibility in your availability to work.

A fair amount of experience within a similar role.
-

Must live within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes.

Desirable Criteria:

-

MCP in a Key Area would be beneficial.

A full UK Driving Licence with access to a motor vehicle.
