For an international bank in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Professional to take up the following challenge:
WINDOWS SOLUTION INTEGRATION ARCHITECT & TECHNICAL PM (CONTRACT) - 5568
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER ROLE WITH STRONG BACKGROUND OF WINDOWS ARCHITECTURE AND SW DISTRIBUTION FOR THE GLOBAL ROLLOUT OF WINDOWS 10. Responsible for integration, quality assurance, and operational readiness of the Win10 solution delivered by the Engineering team. Personally review the solution, the defects, and testing results. Engage with Engineering, Product Management and Operations to ENSURE ALIGNMENT AND OPERATIONAL READINESS with respect to deployment and support. This is a senior PM role due to technical complexity and scale (GLOBAL ROLL OUT TO 100,000 USERS). The Integration PM will conduct TECHNICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW AND DEFINE & ASSIGN REMEDIATION ACTIONS to the respective project teams. Therefore, strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows upgrades and rollouts is required, technically as well as managerial.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Build and deploy a modern Windows 10 compatible desktop image globally
- Rollout the current Windows 7 platform to Windows 10 (including Desktop, Laptop, VM, Thin Client) for 100,000 users
- Implement new software deployment capability using SCCM to support stateless user machines (VDI) and Cloud
- Update application packaging process for Windows 10 via MyApps upload to SCCM
- Lead the build and readiness of Windows releases
- Close relationship with the following streams: Requirements, Engineering, Application, Deployment and Operations
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ YEARS of experience as SOFTWARE INTEGRATION ARCHITECT/LEAD (MUST)
- ABILITY TO lead complex infrastructure solutions and changes in banking areas
- PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE OF WINDOWS SOLUTIONS IN LARGE ORGANIZATIONS
- Excellent knowledge of software distribution (SCCM)
- GLOBAL BANKING EXPERIENCE (MUST)
- Seniority in building and deploying IT Solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trustful relationships at all levels
- PMP Certification
- ENGLISH (fluent)
CONTRACT DETAILS
Start: ASAP latest on 01.07.2017
Duration: 12 MONTHS (contract initially for 6 months, afterward extended)
Daily Rate: CHF 900 ALL INCLUSIVE
