Windows Solution Designer - SOE, AD, Vmwaer

ABOUT THE COMPANY/POSITION:

Working in a team of talented Archtiects and Designers for a top tier Customer of this leading Consultancy, you will provide end to end design across projects in the Wintel space. This is a pivotal role to assist the Solution Architects in interpreting and translating business requirements into a technology solution. in this role, you will provide the detailed design, assists with cost models and hand over to the implementation teams.

Ideally this would suite a Solution Designer or Engineer aspiring to take the step into Archtiecture that wants to develop their design skills with an Industry leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with Enterprise Architects and creates detailed design documents
- Translate business needs into technology solution.
- Accountable for solution's output in terms of quality, timeliness and compliance with requirements as defined in the SOW.
- Continually develops technical competency from an end to end architectural perspective.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Extensive experience in design and deployment in Microsoft Windows operating system and infrastructure technologies (Windows 08/08, Active Directory, SCCM, XP and Vista)
- Demonstarated experience and expertise in Active Directory enterprise-wide deployments and migrations at technical design and specialist level.
- Experiences with Virualisation - Citrix and VMware
- Prior experience with consulting and building relationships with clientws fo rthe purpose of consultative selling.
