Windows Software Engineer

Our client is a HUGELY POPULAR COMPUTER COMPONENTS MANUFACTURER seeking a WINDOWS SYSTEM LEVEL DEVELOPER to focus on developing power/thermal management optimization software. This candidate will work as part of a team to develop new thermal and power management capabilities to an existing software product in Windows. This Windows Engineer will be expected to work with limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be a Senior Developer with 8-10 years of experience
- Expertise in Windows Device Driver (WDF/WDM)
- Expert level knowledge of C/C++
- Understanding of ACPI and driver interface
- Windows OS internals and background
- Experience with system level programming a must
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- PC hardware knowledge - PCIe, USB, etc.

NICE TO HAVE

- Windows 8 experience a plus
- Windows ETW understanding a plus
- Experience with WWAN or WiFi Software stack a plus
- Some relevant GUI based application experience a plus
