Windows Server Engineer

Beacon Hill Technologies is currently looking for a WINDOWS SERVER ENGINEER for a client located in CLEVELAND, OHIO for a 6+ MONTH CONTRACT.

Server Administrator - Windows Server and VMWare
Works under the general direction of the Technical Leads and the Servers & Storage Manager

Requires experience with:

- Active Directory and Windows Server Administration (DNS, DHCP, DFS)
- VMware Administration
- Scripting with PowerShell and VBscript (legacy scripts to be modified if needed or converted to PowerShell)
- Monthly patch management using Altiris and WSUS
- Microsoft IP Address Management (IPAM)
- Deployment of software packages via Altiris
- Windows Print Infrastructure
- Windows Printer Drivers need to be upgraded in approximately 40+ offices
- HP and Xerox Printer configurations need to be updated in approximately 40+ offices
- Service Account passwords need to be changed in approximately 40+ offices

Responsibilities

Lead/Assist with the upgrade of the printer infrastructure
Lead/Assist ongoing Server Administration duties to augment current staff as required
Assist with Windows 2008/2012 R2 server builds to meet upcoming project requirements
