Description:
This job will support day to day operations of Web Server Farm and hand held units 800+ locations. This role will also look for process improvement opportunities and will participate in projects that support operations group such as upgrades, new development, disaster recovery.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a customer's strategic business or technical requirements
- Work with business partners to translate customer requirements and recommend system solutions and formulate detailed specifications, including architecture and costs
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure engineered solutions are aligned to company standards
- Maintain regular communication with management to update them on project status and critical fault resolution progress
- Develop and implement business solutions using Powershell, VBScripts.
- Independently researches and resolves highly complex technical problems
- Document infrastructure, standards/process, implementation procedures and troubleshooting processes
- Enforce Windows Server administration standards, policies and guidelines and develop and implement them as the needs are identified and prioritized
- Troubleshoot Window Servers issues and escalate as required
- Maintain continuously updated documentation of key applications in order to facilitate the support and improvement of the platform

Requirements

- Experience deploying/supporting Windows Mobile devices
- Extensive Microsoft IIS experience
- Broad understanding of all major Windows Infrastructure components
- Detailed knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory
- Powershell & VBScript experience
- 5+ years systems administration and troubleshooting experience
- 3+ years Windows architecture experience in a multi-site company
- Strong documentation skills including experience writing proposals and statements of work
- Must be able to work under pressure and act independently
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Additional Qualifications

- Microsoft .NET 3.5 development experience-
- Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS)
- WMI Scripting, SQL Scripting, Web Scripting, and PowerShell Scripting
- Microsoft Certified Engineer (MCSE) a plus
