WINDOWS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR/SQL/.NET/APPLICATIONS/BANKING/AMSTERDAM

Looking for a Windows Administrator for a Brand New International Bank based in Amsterdam. This is a great long-term assignment where you will be part of building a new bank. The contract is based full time in Amsterdam.

The IT administrator must have a strong attitude in understanding the system and awareness of dependencies.
Able to deep dive in specifics and acts pro-actively actions and tasks. "I own the change or issue" - attitude.

- Manage Internet Information Server on Windows Server - good understanding of configuration and maintenance activities
- Manage .NET websites on IIS - basic understanding of configurations, configuration locations, errors, simple troubleshooting steps
- Manage applications in a connected environment- know who is involved, parties, their interconnections, and dependencies, troubleshoot errors and trace them to root cause
- Manage SQL environments (database level)
- Manage Microsoft OS
- Understanding of networking
- Understand monitoring - how to use configured monitoring on application/OS/network level to troubleshoot and provide feedback about possible issues
- Basic understanding of CMS systems - able to check if content is present or not for example
- Understand general tasks related to the deployment of a .NET applications (web and windows); Knowledge of tooling for automated deployments (scripts). Able to troubleshoot script errors and write/maintain scripts
