Windows IT Operations Analyst (f/m) Financial area Luxembourg

On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Luxembourg, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

WINDOWS IT OPERATIONS ANALYST (F/M)

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will support the production environment 24/7 and will solve business and IT problems with innovative solutions to ensure that a maximum service level is provided to Customers on a 24 hour basis
- You will implement, integrate and support third party software as well as internally developed applications within the IT productions environment
- You will analyze problems and resolve issues during shift work and will perform monitoring, tuning and optimization of performance of in-house IT applications as well as third party software whilst ensuring maximum availability and service to customers
- You will ensure the integrity of the production environment and will implement upgrades or new products that are critical for the daily operational business

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS

- University degree, BAC+2/3 in an IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
- Experience in WINDOWS environments is required
- Good knowledge of Oracle and SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (Servers, workstations), MS Exchange, MS SQL, VMware, Citrix, and other various software applications
- Ability to work in a customer-facing role, service-oriented attitude and attention to detail
- FLUENT IN BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN ENGLISH AND FRENCH. Additional languages will be an asset

Dedication, strong team and communication skills, flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications round out the profile.
