For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring a Windows Infrastructure Senior Engineer (m/f)

Start date: 1.7.2016
Contract: limited permanent position at Nash direct, first contract length 12 months, with option to extend for another 12 months

Task description:
*Participate in the design and testing of the clients standard OS releases based on Microsoft Windows Server versions for physical and virtual platforms.
*Configuration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and other orchestration and automation technologies for the deployment of new instances based on new standard OS releases and for the upgrade of existing running instances to the latest standards, and handover of tools and procedures to the System Operations Team.
*Coordination of the monthly Windows Server vulnerability patching activities.
*On-call duties possible
Your profile:
*Masters degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Engineering and design experience
*Experience in the design and implementation of complex IT management infrastructures for the automated administration of Windows server instances during their lifecycle (deployment, continued compliance, retirement)
*In depth knowledge of and experience with the design and implementation of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
*In depth knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012 including Powershell scripting
*Confidence with Microsoft Security Baseline Analyser and ideally with Nessus Vulnerability Scanner
*Experience with HP and possibly Cisco server hardware and related management tools
*Experience with VMware vSphere 5.1 and higher.
*Experience working in a mature IT environment with established IT Service Management processes.
*Working experience in an international organisation
*A good command of English with proven drafting ability
*Good analytical and problem-solving skills
*Manages multiple assignments, tracks and reports progress on numerous processes simultaneously
*Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work in a team
