Windows Engineer//Support Specialist

For my Large Banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Windows engineering/support specialist

We have a requirement for a Windows engineering/support specialist to help support the infrastructure of our structured products trading IT operations. The focus of the role is to provide support to the existing team in terms of the Windows server and Active Directory systems as well as some project work.

Main duties;

-Maintenance of existing Windowsserver environment (2003/2008)
-Windows sys admin duties
-Active Directory including group policy creation and administration
-Backup and restore with Symantec
-VMware support
-Participation in data archiving and decommissioning project

Experience preferred:

-Good knowledge of maintaining high availability, high volume Windows server environments
-Citrix skills are an advantage
-Experience in supporting complex environments-Virtualisation technologies eg. VMWare
-Team foundation server
-Sharepoint technologies
-Experience in data migration and decommissioning is a plus
-Experience in high availability environments
-Trading technology knowledge such as exchange connectivity and trading applications
-Ability to work as part of a small team
-German and English skills are desirable, but the candidate must be fluent in at least one of them
