Windows Engineer - Powershell/L3 Support

WINDOWS ENGINEER - POWERSHELL/L3 SUPPORT - this is a long term contract opportunity to join a our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 5+ years' working experience in supporting Windows based infrastructure and application computing environment with large number of Servers
- Strong PowerShell Scripting skills
- Familiarity with Windows-based operating systems, HBA's Technologies and Symantec Enterprise Volume Manager
- Understanding of virtualisation technologies, such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Background in the banking field is a plus
- Languages: fluent English, German is highly desirable

YOUR TASKS:

- Taking part in infrastructure projects as Third Level Support of Windows Servers environment and liaising with Switzerland, EMEA and Global counterparts as well as implementing and improving security risk remediation on system
- Collaborating with other internal partners for designing, planning and coordinating implementation to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Writing technical documentations for related infrastructure and installs, including the technologies Clustering, Filesystem, Symantec Enterprise volume management, Printing and NetBackup/Commvault as well as OS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 Enterprise
- Driving the execution of innovative solutions
