Introduction:
For one of our clients near Lausanne we are looking for an experienced Windows Databases & Application Specialist.

Role:
Your main tasks will be:

Project management (50%):
- Being a Point of contact for applications integration of new business needs on Windows Servers
- Design server's architecture to integrate new business needs
- Install business application on Windows Servers (Preprod and Production environment)

Business application support (50%)
- Support business applications on preproduction and production windows Servers (update, availability).
- Ensure installation are done according to Globe standards
- Keep the relevant documentation up to date (Architecture, Install process, support).
- Train team members on Application Server activities.
- Coordinate with the business OS or applications update, server's renewal process.
- Escalate problems to the respective organization (internally, externally)
- Participate to out of business hours activities
- Participate to the "On Call support" (out of business working hours) for applications Servers (on site in 2 hours, 24/7, max. 1 week per month).

Requirements:

Must-Have:
IS/IT (min 5 years' experience):
- MS-SQL/MySQL
- MS server OS (W2K3, W2K8R2)
- IIS/Apache
- .NET
- VMWare technology (Virtualization)
- Networking (TCPIP)

Experience:
- Technical project management
- Windows Infrastructure design
- Application integration/support on windows Servers
- Project management.
