Projektbeschreibung
The ideal candidates will be providing remote support for field IT teams as they transition to a new standardised Windows 7 managed environment.
This is an entry level position & requires some experience in remote Windows server deployment and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Monitoring the Incident Management queues and actioning incidents related to managed windows server services and infrastructure
- Actioning incidents logged via the Remedy service desk and assigned to W&CT via standardised information, policies and procedures
- Alerting W&CT 3rd level when incident trends are observed and participating in root cause analysis
- Supporting, developing, testing and documenting W&CT support procedures
- Skills and knowledge with a range of Servers and technologies eg Windows 2008/2012 R2 Server, Windows 2008/2012 R2 virtualisation, SCOM
- Experience in supporting Windows 2008/2012 R2 Server deployments
- An understanding and experience of the Microsoft server and desktop management systems eg SCCM
- Knowledge/experience in remote operating systems eg Windows 7, deployment and application installation across a large enterprise
- SCOM/SCCM user level knowledge
- Knowledge/experience in remote management of MS Windows Servers
- Demonstrated experience in providing 2nd level support for enterprise systems via an ITIL compliant Service Desk.
- Knowledge and experience with ITIL Incident and Change Management
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
