Windows 8.1 Implementation Specialist

Your role is to develop and implement technical solutions provide expert advice on a pilot implementation of Windows 8.1

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Investigating technical environments in relation to the implementation of Windows 8.1
- Providing advice on the optimal approach to implement key requirements in the fastest timeframes
- Advising on server and client licensing required in to establish a Windows 8.1 pilot and for the longer term
- Advising on potential infrastructure or application compatibility issues;
- Using the Windows 7 infrastructure (SCCM, enterprise Active Directory, Exchange etc) as the base, establish the infrastructure and configuration required to deliver Windows 8.1
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to address Windows 8.1 technical issues
- Documenting the design and configuration used to deliver Windows 8.1
- Developing and documenting a support model for Windows 8.1 devices and configuration with a long-term view

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Significant experience in performing and leading Windows 8.x deployments and substantial knowledge of Windows 8.1 architecture
- Key experience with tools such as; Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows 8.1 licensing, Group policy creation and management, Active Directory, Device management, Office 2013/Office 365
- Experience in the assessment, development, documentation and implementation of complex ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks related to the implementation of managed operating environments into a large organisation.
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the organisation
