This position is for a Greeter for the Windows 8 Deployment project at the customer's site in Sanford, NC. This Tech position will be responsible for interfacing with the customers as they schedule appointments to pick up their new Windows 8 laptops. The Win 8 Tech will spend 30 minutes with each customer explaining what has changed with the operating system, how to migrate their data, how to map printers, etc. Interaction with the customers will be scripted (scripts and other related information provided during training).

OUTSTANDING customer service and interpersonal communication skills are required for this position.

REQUIREMENTS

- 1-3 years of Help Desk experience
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Infrastructure/Data Center experience strongly desired
- Lenovo Laptop/Desktop certifications strongly desired
- HP Printer certifications strongly desired
- Some Windows 8 experience required
- Knowledge of commonly-used Tech Support concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
- CompTIA A+ strongly preferred
