WINDOWS 7 - SOLUTION ARCHITECT - LEADING IT & MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY - PARIS, FRANCE

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Solution Architect on Windows 7 OS to join a leading global IT & Management consulting company to work onsite at one of their clients: one of the world leaders in the Telecommunications and Networking sector to provide specific knowledge and experience with developing Windows 7 SOE including MDOP, interfacing with the various teams and working closely to deliver the project successfully and to exact standards of technical function.

Our client is a world leading IT they have a truly global presence and count numerous leading organisations, across industries and regions, as esteemed clients. One of these clients is a French company with headquarters in Paris, they are one of the world leaders in Telecommunications and Network technologies and as it stands they are at the early stages of rolling out Windows 7 SOE across offices and locations to be the sole and main Operating systems for all of their employees. This project has been outsourced to our client which is now in the process of recruiting a team of skilled and experienced infrastructure and desktop experts to successfully deliver on this project.

The role at hand is to work in this team as the main Solution Architect and provide the following deliverables to the overall project:
- Provide a Solution Design Architecture (SAD) for a Global Windows 7 SOE including Internet Explorer 8 & Office 2010 Suite.
- Responsible for reviewing SOE application list and confirm compatibility with Windows 7 SOE and Microsoft Office 2010.
- Responsible with reviewing existing Group and Windows Security policies.
- Auditing customer current environment globally and identify hardware and software application compatibility with Windows 7 SOE including Microsoft Office 2010.
- Recommend a Migration Strategy based on the target state environment Global Windows 7 SOE and Office 2010.
- Provide a resource plan outlining resources human required to analyse, design, build, test and implement the Global Windows 7 SOE and Office 2010.

As well as the above, this Windows & Solution Architect will be liaising closely with the clients to obtain clear and defined specifications and feedback.

The most important things to our client that they will be looking for in a candidate are:
- Specific experience with developing and deploying Windows 7 SOE including MDOP.
- Should have the capabilities to demonstrate pilot design to senior level management of an organization.
- Strong Knowledge and experience of Imaging.
- Strong Knowledge and experience of SCCM/MDT, MEDV, USMT
- Strong Knowledge and experience of Group Policies/AD
- Windows 7 Migration experience, Direct Access, Branch Cache, Networking
