Yoh has contract opportunities for WINDOWS 7 MIGRATION SPECIALISTS to support our client in St. Louis, MO.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyst must be able to successfully perform an technical and non-technical interviews with customers to identify utilized software to be tested for Win 7 compatibility.
- With the collection of applications used, the analyst must be able to extract and recommend test cases that will be validated by the app owner or business user.
- Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of the test environment.
- Analyst will evaluate application packaging state, and request application packaging for applications needing to be packaged.
- Analyst will be responsible for collecting and reporting all test metrics into the results compliance Matrix.
- Analyst must have a strong ability to communicate well, make recommendations, and direct resources including IT, Clinical and Physician staff to validate functionality against the Win 7 OS.
- Analyst must be able to work under direction and within a team environment.
- Analyst must be able to handle a highly stressful and fast paced workload as well as the ability to multitask.
- Analyst should be comfortable with Windows 7 OS to the level of advanced user.
- Analyst will be responsible for completing other duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to prioritize work, perform troubleshooting/application remediation and provide high level application support.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Looking for candidates with Level 2-3 Desktop Support experience.
- Candidates need to have working knowledge and experience with both Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems.
- Candidates will be expected to have the ability to perform a Windows 7 Application Readiness Assessment to create Test strategies and strategic decisions based upon the assessment findings.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Intermediate MS Access Database skills desired.
- Direct experience with managing/supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft operating system migrations and supporting technologies.
- Active Directory Group Policy.
- Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT).
- Experience installing and troubleshooting software.
- Strong technical troubleshooting/root cause analysis skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Manage own activities with minimal direction.
