Projektbeschreibung

Capita, FTSE 100 and Leading Business Process Outsourcer, is seeking a number of Floorwalkers to join their team to work on a tranformation project till April 2013 on a fixed term contract (PAYE with Capita) primarily within their WIN7 Implementation Team for a key client encompassing installation of Desktop & Laptop PC devices and peripherals as well as diagnosis and resolution of hardware related fault calls placed by internal users. So this is a fixed term contract position, working closely with other technical teams and users alike, so excellent customer handling and communications skills are essential in combination with a proven level of technical expertise. Seeking applicants who are flexible and mobile as will be working on a variety of sites and environments throughout West Sussex so ideally should be local to the area.

The role has the following key components:

1.Use of analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents at the Deskside.
2.Use of Amdocs case management system.
3.Movement, installation and decommissioning of end-user IT equipment across a range of locations and environments.
4.Use of remote support and systems administration toolsets.
5.Use of standard processes to complete standard operations.
6.Any other assigned duties in line with status and ability.

So seeking applicants wtih the following experience and skills:

Good understanding of what ITIL is and its basic components - knowledge gained by personal research will be sufficient Good working knowledge and experience of MS Windows XP and Windows 7 in an enterprise environment.
Detailed knowledge and experience of PC and Laptop hardware and component technologies.
Experience of working in a 1st and 2nd Line ideally in a corporate IT support environment.
Experience of floorwalking and dealing with IT issues as well as deployment experience
Able to sustain lengthy periods of concentration.
Ability to learn quickly.
Be self-motivated and self-reliant.
A natural interest in IT and an inquisitive mind.
Able to demonstrate initiative and ownership of incidents.
To be able to produce clear and well written case notes.
Maintains professional, service-minded attitudes and behaviours and personal appearance.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrable flexibility of approach to meet customer service needs
Able to be mobile and visit different sites so ideally require applicants to have a valid driving license and have access to a car.
Willing to undergo CRB Check if successful

Ideally the following as well but not essential:

Working knowledge of local government application sets.
Amdoc's Clarify or any other helpdesk call management CRM system.
