Windows 7 Deployment SME (Consultant)

You will be working as part of the Client Technologies team focusing on the development of the Windows 7 global Image design and associated technologies. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, the administration of Group Policy, SCCM, MDT, USMT and other key support services

Brief Description of Accountabilities:

*Work closely with the Windows 7 Desktop Engineering team members to deliver the Windows 7 global migration project
*Participate in the design of the Windows 7 global image and configuration of the associated deployment tools (MDT, SCCM, USMT)
*Participate in the design, testing and deployment of the Windows 7 user and computer group policies
*Develop technical migration strategy via USMT and other associated technologies
*Participate in the design, testing and implementation of the Windows 7 & Windows 8 mobile solution
*Manage the subsequent implementation, documentation and maintenance of said systems
*System upgrades such as firmware, OS, application, and security patch evaluation using WSUS, Scripting, and other automated processes
*Developing and maintains operational documentation and specifications on system builds and configurations

Experience and Qualifications:

*4+ years SCCM administration experience (application deployment, security patching)
*5+ years hands experience with Windows OS Image creation (MDT/SCCM) for large multi-national environments
*Previous experience with enterprise Windows 7 migration projects
*In Depth experience designing, managing and implementing group policy and group policy preferences
*Experience with implementing and administering Bitlocker
*Proficiency in use of Powershell, VBscript
*In depth knowledge of the Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems
*Experience implementing/administering VDI technologies
