WINDOWS 7 DEPLOYMENT ROLLOUT LEAD/ENGINEER - DUBLIN - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - UP TO €290 PER DAY
A global technology consultancy has secured a large transformation project with one of Ireland's leading banks and seek a Rollout Lead for Windows 7 and Outlook Exchange to join and lead their project based out of Dublin
SUMMARY (5-7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)
1.Should have experience on Rolling Out Windows 7, Outlook Exchange client to End Users
2.Should have experience on handling more than 5000 user base Migration to Win 7 or Exchange Platform
3.Should have good knowledge on maintaining Microsoft Project Plan
4.Should be a good Team Player and willing to work on the ground along with the client and Rollout Engineers
5.Candidate should have minimum 3 yearsexperienceon End User migration Project.
6.Candidate would be responsible to maintain day to day migration plan and schedule
7.Candidate needs to work as a SPOC for any escalation during the migration phase
8.Candidate has to work along with the Client Work Stream Manager to plan the End user migration schedule and logistics
9.Should coordinate with Training team on the daily status of End User training and maintain a status record
10.You will be responsible to collect the day to day issue from the Floor Walking Support Engineer and share the report to Project Stakeholders
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE (BASIC UNDERSTANDING)
Desktop Deployment mechanisms
Scheduling of deployments to a developed timetable
User and application profiling for deployment planning
User acceptance testing principles, and test cycle understanding
Understanding of Citrix
Applications packaging concepts
Windows virtualisation concepts
SOFT SKILLS
A good team player
Excellent time management skills
Ability to direct a strong team of individual contributors
Professional attitude, with strong attention to detail
Pro-active and pragmatic with regards to problem solving
Pragmatic and adaptable, able to present multiple options to address complex challenge
Energetic and ability to convince on thoughts
