Windows 7 Analyst

Assist in analysis and coordination of migrating computers to the Windows 7 operating system for employees across the Transmission business unit. Will be responsible to research and analyze installed software for Transmission business unit in an effort to ensure the suitability to migrate to Windows 7. Will be responsible for end-user interviews to support the deployment schedule. The position will also collaborate on an on-going basis with stakeholders and apply proven communications, analytical and problem solving skills to proactively assist in the migration to the Windows 7 operating system.

Candidates applying for this position must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following areas:

- Deployments experience
- Knowledge OF USMT (User State Migration Tool) and MDT (Microsoft Deployment tool set)
- Fundamental understanding of project management concepts - ability to plan and manage activities
- Understanding the difference between operating system platforms and software applications
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks while under pressure
