WINDOWS 10 DESK TOP SECURITY ENGINEER
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
Security Engineer for Window 10 -Desk top security engineering. Endpoint security
This role is for a Security Engineer (not an Operator or an Administrator someone that can Build, define, implement solutions, some Architectural skills -who will join highly skilled desktop security engineering team responsible for design and produce secure, stable, and with good user experience build for desktop, laptop, VM and tablet based on Microsoft and Intel Security landscape.
The role includes activities related with cooperation with stakeholders (Product Managers, Solution and Security Architects), design, documentation preparation and testing. The Security Engineer will be required to take security requirements from security architecture and product management and will improve current solution for Endpoint Security.
The candidate will be responsible for product evaluation, solution design, build and configuration of test environment. The candidate should have qualification described below, proven experience in scope of similar products and solutions.
Must have an understanding of the security requirements of a Desktop build within a financial Institution and the ability to interpret security standards and ensure adherence to them. Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, be extremely self-motivated, be able to work with minimal guidance and have the ability to own problems through to resolution. Ability to collaborate across a diverse global team. 5 years+ experience in relevant disciplines Very good English communication skills Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10) Strong commercial experience.
The key skills here are knowledge of windows 10 -experience (operating system) new features.
END POINT SECURITY -PRODUCT TECHNIQUES (HIGH EXPERIENCE FOCUS), USB PORTS LOCKDOWN, MOBILE SECURITY -ENSURE THAT DATA FROM DESKTOP CANNOT BE COPIED OR REPLICATED.
Consultant must have good communication skills - must have previous experience with proof of concept- organise a proof of concept exercise -report findings to key stakeholders/Management -where new security features in windows 10 can be used within the clients environment-which products are best fit etc. or make recommendations to third party security products
Skills with Intel & MacAfee security Products:
Must have experience with the creation of Powerpoint presentations in order to communicate and document findings.
Client would like list of initial findings within the first 30 Days and a fully defined proof of concept defined within the first 3 months.
Client is currently on a windows 7 environment. This is a Global Windows 10 upgrade and roll out - Ideal Candidate should be able to start ideally immediately or within 1 month.
