WiFi Support Engineer

CONSOL PARTNERS ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A WI-FI TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER TO WORK FOR OUR CLIENT, AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED OPERATOR. THE ROLE IS BASED IN BELGIUM AND THE CLIENT IS LOOKING AT RAPID GROWTH IN THE COMING MONTHS.

THE ROLE:

- You perform daily operational tasks on the Wi-Fi (and IP) network components;
- You grant 2nd tier support Wi-Fi technology to other groups or internal departments;
- You act as a technology expert for specific domains and about bears full responsibility within the team;
- You carry out acceptance and regression tests when indienst incorporate new components, services and technologies;
- You develop and implement operational maintenance and provisioning tools and procedures;
- You measure and analyze the quality and load of the network and its impact on the quality of the service;
- You manage projects independently or represent the team in interdepartmental projects;
- You will occasionally "in the field" to examine the spot complex situations

KNOWLEDGE

- You have a good knowledge of (technical) English and speaks a few words of French;
- You have a good knowledge of WLAN/(SP) Wi-Fi technology;
- You have experience with site surveys and spectrum analysis for Wi-Fi;
- You know it takes more than just a strong Wi-Fi signal a good Wi-Fi user experience;
- You have a CWTS or CWNA certification, this is a plus:
- You have a good knowledge of the IP protocol and its applications, IP routing protocols, LAN and WAN switching;
- You have a good knowledge of Network Management;
- Knowledge of Unix and Python Scripting is a plus
- You are willing to be permanently 24/24;
- You are stress resistant and you have a sense of responsibility;
- You work both independently and in a team;
- You have good analytical skills, are eager to learn and willing to share knowledge;
