WiFi Engineer (French or Dutch)

ConSol Partners client is a technology company seeking a WiFi Engineer,The WiFi Engineer will be working on a contract basis which holds great potential to add value to your already strong skill set and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior WiFi Engineer will be part of the team responsible to deliver WiFi projects to clients.

Most of the projects involve a combination of some or all of the following technologies/hardware:

- Cisco WLC
- Cisco Virtual WLC
- Cisco Lightweight AP
- Cisco Autonomous AP
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco CMX
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
- Microsoft IAS/NPS

This position will include the design of new infrastructures, implementing these solutions and assisting the support team during troubleshooting and problem solving.

- Understand customer requirements from a technical and business perspectives
- Work with our clients to define projects designs and provide recommendations
- Write implementation steps which will be used by the operation team
- Support the operation team during migrations and configurations
- Participate in solving technical issues in collaboration with the support team
- Maintain and update customer documentation
- Must have understanding of the ITIL principals

TECHNICAL

- Degree in Engineering or equivalent training with professional experience
- Strong analytical thinking and knowledge of procedures
- Knowledge of routing and switching principles (minimum CCNA level)
- Cisco WiFi Certification:
- CNNA Wireless
- CNNP Wireless
- CCIE Wireless (optional)
- Optional product knowledge:
- Understanding of RADIUS
- Understanding of RF Design
- RF Troubleshooting
- Wireless Troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of Firewalls

SOFT SKILLS

- Highly proactive and committed
- Good communication skills in French or Dutch and English
- Responsive to the demand of working in a high pressure environment
- Flexibility and willingness to work out of office hours
- Motivated to work in a large infrastructure and the opportunity to develop different design perspectives

Must have the right to work in Belgium.
