Well Intervention Supervisor (North Sea)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Contributing to Company's operated platform wells safety, availability and productivity
*Providing technical input to well interventions on relevant wells
*Supporting compilation of maintenance elements of well operations budget
*Delivering wells as per established programs

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

*Plan, execute and report all well Intervention activities (Slick line, Electric Line, Coiled Tubing, Treatment stimulation, XT and WH Maintenance, Completion, Work Over, etc) in accordance with UK operating standards and statutory legislation.
*Identify compliance within company and statutory standards.
*Ensuring that adequate personnel and technical resources are available at the work sites to allow safe operations and that personnel receive adequate instructions to carry out their task safely.
*Take the necessary actions to correct hazardous situations or conditions.
*Ensuring any hazard or incident is reported immediately in accordance with Company procedure.
*Act on any well abnormalities, under the instruction of the Well Intervention Superintendent and initiate remedial actions to maintain well safety and availability.
*Demonstrate commitment to Safety and SIMOPS compliance rules when required.
*Anticipate potential problems and plan alternative strategies.
*Ascertain that equipment is available for operations.
*Provide input to the completion and maintenance of the well operation database.
*Chair morning conference calls to Well Intervention Superintendent.
*Liaise with contractors and compile/submit performance reports for each Company, per well.
*Organise equipment movement with contractors
*Act as Completion and/or Work Over Supervisor with assistance from Completion Engineer under responsibility of Drilling Supervisor when required.
*Liaise with the Drilling Supervisor and the OIM (OPS) to ensure that the pressure recording are correct, bleed of annuli are done on time and in the given pressure window. Participate to the offshore operational meeting and assist in the decision taken in their domain of expertise (ie WH and XT, CTU, Slick Line, Electric Line, Fishing, ...)
*Follow up integrity problems or concerns and advise on remedial actions.
*Assist in the update of WTI Operational Procedures.
*Communicate with the offshore Operations Management on well operational issues.
*Participate to meeting with other Depts. such as attending planning or well performance.
*Prespud meeting for non routine operations ( Water Shut Off, Jet Pump, etc )
*Site Audits, Technical and Safety, with appropriate contractors.
*Capture, collate and record lessons learned in Wellview.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

*The job holder should be educated to degree level or similar to HNC or equivalent to, via qualified industry training and demonstrate significant ability through experience and proven achievements in well intervention and appropriate experience in oil industry drilling.
*The job holder must be a well services professional who has gained the requisite expertise through continuous training, and wide operational experience on offshore installations, logistics, simultaneous operations, coupled with a significant knowledge/experience of Completion related equipments, geology, reservoir and production, cost control and follow-up, environmental safety, risk assessment, certifications and a strong knowledge of the Group Policies.
