Websphere MQ System Engineer with Java & Linux Know-How

For a global bank based here in Zurich we are looking for a WebSphere MQ System Engineer to join the team.

This contract has reopened as the Hiring Manager would like to see additional CV's for this role.

The Job:

- Works on life cycle and application onboarding tasks
- end of live migration tasks
- life cycle WMQ V7.0.x > V7.5/V8 and WMQBroker V7.x -> V9
- support new onboarding projects on Linux

We are looking for candidates with:

- deep skill level of WebSphere MQ V7.x/V8.x + MessageBroker V7.x/V9.x
- familiar with MQ clustering and mulitiinstance setup
- USED TO WORK ON LINUX + SOLARIS
- Mainframe or Java knowledge a plus
- feels comfortable to work in a large global environment
- Worked as project leader on greater migration projects and is capable to plan, coordinate and be persistent
- Additional to WMQ migrations, candidate performed Broker V7 -V9 migrations and can provide a migration plan
- Stayed longer for an assignment, and haven't rotated already after weeks
- German speaking would be a plus
