WEBSPHERE MQ SPECIALIST

AS THEIR  PREFERRED SUPPLIER FOR THE EMEA REGION WESTHOUSE GROUP  IS ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR A WEBSPHERE MQ SPECIALIST FOR A GLOBAL CLIENT.

The WebSphere MQ Specialist will participate in the daily maintenance activities (incidents, changes, problems). Involved with project design, installation, configuration and fine tuning Ready for weekend changes and standby rooster. Security review, design and implementation. Proposal for new monitoring tools and review of current monitoring setting and scripts.        

Create file transfer connections with the use of XFB Interpel and Synchrony Gateway multi platforms specially within Mainframe environment (z/OS). Deep knowledge of File Tranfer system GFT with proper design experience within z/OS platform. Deep knowledge and trackable practical experience about MQ FTE (File Transfer Edition). Maintain existing connections. Guarantee the continuity of the file transfer infrastructure. Draw up designs according the architectural guidelines. Perform system testing and implement corrective actions on findings. Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in projects. Perform impact analyses. Execute the ITIL processes. Perform configuration management and maintain the configuration database. Solve incidents and problems related to the file transfer infrastructure. Consult with project leaders. Maintain documentation. Perform key management. Prepared to participate in a stand by schedule outside office hours once every three weeks.  

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE WEBSPHERE MQ SPECIALIST:

"Certified Interpel and Synchrony specialist.  Deep knowledge of both infrastructure and Middleware regarding banking or financial services File Transfer software specially deep knowledge and experience with MQ File Transfer Edition (MQ FTE).  knowledge of Z/OS operating system, knowledge of Unix (AIX, HPUX), WebSphere MQ specialist, Specialist in WMQ clustering. Knowledge of networking components, security and security aspects like SSL and certificates. WMQ Certified solution designer.
5 years on Interpel and Synchrony products. 5 years on GFT transfer products. 5 years Z/OS (Mainframe), 5years Unix, 5 years WebSphere MQ.. Good knowledge of Unix Scripting. Excellent knowledge of MQ V7 and WMB V7.

FURTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE WEBSPHERE MQ SPECIALIST:

Support, maintenance and implementation of WMQ for Mainframe,Unix and Wintel. Deep knowledge of  MQ- FTE. Solution design and implementation of MQ FTE.WMB V7 Solution designer certified. WMQ V7 Solution designer certified. Deep knowledge and implementation experience of MQ-FTE (File Transfer Edition) on z/OS platform and Unix. Experience of acting as the solution specialist on Middleware components specially WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker, with responsibility for the full daily maintenance including both infrastructure and Middleware where appropriate. Banking or financial services experience. Deep knowledge of MQ and MQ programming, knowledge of Z/OS operating system, knowledge of Unix (AIX, HPUX), WebSphere MQ specialist, Specialist in WMQ clustering. Knowledge of networking components, security and security aspects like SSL and certificates. WMQ Certified solution designer. Excellent knowledge of MQ V7 and WMB V7.
