WEBSPHERE MQ & MESSAGE BROKER CONSULTANT

My client, a leading international consultancy based in the Netherlands, are looking for an experienced WebSphere MQ & Message Broker consultant to join a high profile client ASAP. This contract will initially run until the end of 2017 and is likely to be extended further.

ACTIVITIES:

- Providing support and management of interfaces, according to ITIL-based management methodology
- Solve Incidents
- Investigating Problems
- Preparing Corrective and Preventive Changes (RFCs)
- Maintaining documentation
- Designing and building (modifications) of interfaces, in the context of projects or adaptive changes (RFCs)
- Be part of the functional design process
- Making Technical Design with Interfaces
- Construction and testing of interfaces and components
- Making documentation
- Work according to defined methods and with templates
- Plan and plan own work, plan according to plan and report on it
- Exercise of coordinating tasks in the field of EDI and interfacing

Job requirements:

- At least 5 years work experience in Middleware management
- At least 3 years experience as (application/interface) Developer in Application Integration in IBM MQ/IIB/Seeburger environment
- Experience with project management methods (eg Prince2)
- Experience with working in projects
