WebSphere MQ/Administrator area Brussels/Luxemburg
We are looking for a WebSphere MQ administrator. This employee must be able to perform installation, configuration, problem determination, tuning, upgrades and migrations for different versions of WebSphere MQ in different environments/platforms at different sites. Experience with WebSphere Application Server is desirable and integration of WAS with MQ. Candidate should have a great potential and will be able to support major activities outside working hours. Initiative taking and teamplayer skills are a must. This person will be requiered to work in on-site in Brussels as well as in Luxemburg. Remote working is not an option.
Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of different versions of MQ and optionally Message Broker.
- Good Windows & Unix Skills in order to facilitate WebSphere administration tasks.
- Experience in performance monitoring/tuning
- Experience in optimization/capacity planning
- Experience in troubleshooting
Plusses:
- Knowledge of Apache web server and IBM HTTP server.
- Knowledge on different versions of WebSphere, WebSphere Application Server administration and integration with MQ.
- Experience on WebSphere Portal Server, Content Manager and Edge Server will be a plus.
