WebSphere Engineer, JAVA WebSphere Engineer, Middleware Engineer
Are you an experienced WebSphere Engineer? Do you have strong and in depth knowledge of installing, configuring and operating WebSphere Application Server or Tomcat? Are you a strong scripter with experience of JACL/Jython as well as Shell/Ant? If so then this could be the perfect long term contract job for you.
We are searching for a strong WebSphere/Middleware Engineer to work as part of a regional team responsible for distributed and highly available web platforms. You will be responsible for server configuration/installation as well as configuring security, creating specifications for automating platform setup and application deployment as well as performing Scripting with JACL/Jython, Shell and also Ant You will be expected to have good knowledge of JAVA/JEE including the Spring framework.
In return for this, you will be supported by an international team of WebSphere Engineers that are recognized as experts in their space.
The contract has an initial length of 6 months with a very good chance of extension and the expected rate is 800 Swiss francs per day (although there may be some room for negotiation depending on your level of expertise.
