Brief Job Description:
Provide expertise and consultancy for Server Side support of a world-wide Intranet platform (named GIP/ONE). Your team provides support for applications and their underlying infrastructure (web Servers, Middleware, off-the-shelf applications).

Skills/Knowledge/Experience [required, preferred]:
(include hard & soft skills)You have a deep experience in the following Linux domains based environment:
Manadatory:
*Experience IBM WebSphere Portal (Prio 1), IBM Lotus Connections (Prio 2) and some practice on setting and tuning Lotus QuickR or Omnifind applications (Prio 3)
oPerformance tuning and optimization
oCapacity management
oMonitoring and reporting
oAutomation
*Ideally, you already participated to a project aiming at Integrating IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM Lotus Connections
*Red Hat 5 and 6 Linux
*Deep knowledge of complex web application (mult-tier, load balancing, high availability, authentication, encryption)

Required:
*Infrastructure (network, database, VM Ware)
*ITIL base organisation
*Project management style for handling activities and planning (including follow-up and reporting)
*Excellent English skills (main contact in the US)
*Senior communication skill (person works as a bridge between client and provider)
*Possibility for working in sync with US time is a great asset (eg. 1 pm. until 8pm CET)
*Some limited travelling possible (to US)
