My Client is a major organisation within the financial industry who is looking for a looking for a WebSphere Application Server administrator and preferably some WebSphere MQ Series experience.
You will manage the WebSphere Infrastructure on Linux and your responsibilities will include day-to-day support of the WebSphere environments, development & infrastructure projects, Capacity & Performance Monitoring & Management Methodical fault finding, production support (incl. 24x7 standby), testing of new software releases, patches and upgrades and supporting BAs and Developers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years IBM WebSphere Application Server (v6.1 & v7.0) and WebSphere MQSeries management experience on a RH Linux environment, DB (Oracle)/SQL basic administration wiith good Scripting skills in Shell, jython, python or jacl.
