Websphere Administrator

Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a WebSphere Administrator to join their team. This is a 12+ month contract (with extensions likely) with one of the most well-known companies in the region and nation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Function in an IT Operations/Support Role for WebSphere products - ie: Incident Response, Problem Management/Defect Correction, Root-Cause Determination, Rotational On-Call Support, Small Enhancements, etc.
- Perform the following for WebSphere Products:
- code migrations from lower environments to production
- o version upgrades
- topology design
- Work with infrastructure & operations group to manage WebSphere applications (Migrate Code, Adjust Configurations, etc.)
- Understand end-to-end system integration and assess impacts of changes to the environment
- Oversee team's adherence to company's Production Control Processes

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Extensive experience administering, configuring, monitoring and tuning multiple IBM WebSphere Suite Products
- Experience with one or more of the following WebSphere products:
- WebSphere MQFTE - Version 7 and later
- WebSphere Application Server Development - Version 7 and later
- WebSphere Message Broker Development - Version 7 and later
- WebSphere MQ Development - Version 7 and later
- WebSphere Process Server - Version 7 and later
- WebSphere Business Integration technologies- WESB (WPS and Broker), WAS and WID 7.0 & 7.5
- WebSphere BPM 8.5 Advanced Edition
