Webpshere Commerce Server Developer

Websphere Commerce Server developer required for a 3-6 month contract. You will be assisting my client with ongoing development.

Key skills:

· Project lifecycle experience in delivering web based Java solutions
· At least 12 to 18 months solid experience with WebSphere Commerce programming skills
· Solid core Java programming skills - J2EE 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6
· Experience with J2EE development: EJBs, Servlets, JSPs and, MVC frameworks.
· Experience of Web technologies such as Javascript, CSS, HTML, XHTML
· Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server preferred but other platforms accepted
· Working knowledge of Eclipse / WSAD, RAD alongside version control systems (e.g. CVS).
· Good SQL skills, plus JDBC.
· Working knowledge of IBM DB2 preferred but other major RDBMS solutions accepted.
· Understanding of object oriented concepts and UML notation.
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent delivery focus and commitment
· Team players, able to learn/adapt quickly and take responsibility
