Qualification: Masters degree in Computer Science/IT

No. of Years experience: experience in webMethods. Strong IT experience.

Skill Set:
1. Ideal candidate would be a person who is hands on in coding and also willing to work in the support environment and has lead a team working on webMethods.
2. Should be able to own the tasks at hand and provide periodic status to management. Should lead team and able to lead by example.
3. Perform day-to-day activities such as reporting, and other measures of performance to business and coordinate between onsite and offshore teams
4. Extensive knowledge of Webmethods infrastructure building and migration. Well versed with Performance tunning and have participated in wM 7x to 8x upgrade.
5. Good knowledge of B2B framework and SSL connectivity with partners
6. Excellent development experience in EDI, flat-files, Process models etc.
7. Knowledge of Webmethods components- IntegrationServer, Broker, Trading Network, My Webmethods server, Deployer is a must
8. Candidate should be ready to provide production support and be on-call as per the project requirement
9. Good Knowledge of UNIX, Oracle and Java
10. Should be excellent in spoken and written communication.

1. As a project lead make sure 24x7 production support for webMethods, a niche skill set (Middleware space). Handling change requests, Incidents specific to Customer environment/applications.
2. Individual contributor along with work allocation to the entire team - tickets and upgrade setup & testing in different environments (DEC, UAT, PROD)
3. webMethods (v8.2) Infrastructure and Application setup for ongoing upgrade activities on top of current v7x installation using side-by-side approach
4. Daily production server and application health checks (including weekends and Holidays)
5. Liaison with Client admin, technical, business teams for immediate resolution of production and other infrastructure related issues and clarifications
6. Provide on-call support in the nights and weekends and overlap with teams in the same time zone
7. Ensure timely delivery of all activities (Incidents and Change requests) in order to satisfy the internal as well as customer expectations
8. Technical assistance to team members. Provide solution for resolving critical webMethods infrastructure and application issues.
9. Extensive participation in Unit testing, User Acceptance testing and PROD testing during upgrade to v8.2. Continue supporting and monitoring performance and issues post upgrade go-live.
10. Provide daily and monthly status to client and supervisors
11. Automation and fine tuning of new and existing setup. Suggest improvements, especially, to improve webMethods system performance.
