Webmethods Specialist

For one of our clients we are looking for a WEBMETHODS SPECIALIST.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Unix experience Solaris and Linux (Ux is pre).
- Experience with Unix Shell-Scripting ( PLSQL is a pre ).
- Experience in WebSphere (portal/) Application Server 5x preferred 6x.
- Java and J2EE experience is a pre
- HTTP. Apache, Ldap, webseal, WebSphere edge server etc
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English language (verbal & written)
- Knowledge of ITIL.
- Operational experience with ITIL processes.
- Prepared to work during evenings and weekends (execution of changes)
- Experience with technical application support is not an absolute must, but strongly desired.

HIGH LEVEL ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- Take project assignments to implement systems for business applications.
- Analyze and solve structural issues related to the technical installation and configuration of applications (problem management).
- Prepare and execute regular changes (eg testing and installation of patches and bug fixes, testing & installation of application upgrades.
- Documenting application related procedures and work instructions.
- Execute quality control for new installed applications (Turnover to Production).
- Document status and progress of own work in line with standard procedures for incident, problem and change management.
- Participate in project activities (major upgrades of applications, rollout of new applications).
- Initiate and execute actions for process and quality improvements.
- Perform 3rd line mgt and support activities without guidance.
