Webmethods Developer

Our client in the King of Prussia, PA area is looking for Senior WebMethods Developers for an upcoming project. This will be a 3-4 month contract to start, with extensions possible. This role will be focused on coding WebMethods and speaking with the business users often. Previous experience working with business users is required. This role is with a large, well-known company that is in a major growth period.

POSITION DUTIES:

- Code WebMethods
- Speak with the business users often and help them efficiently over the phone
- Work effectively with both technical AND non-technical team members and proactively seek the work needed to complete the project
- Identify and react in a timely manner to production issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Understand business processes end-to-end
- Ensure data flows to/from EDI structures
- Validates results and analyze data issues

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Extensive (around 5+ years) experience within the following:
- webMethods Development/Design 8.x or higher
- Trading Networks 8.x or higher
- Broker 8.x or higher
- my webMethods Server (MWS) 8.x or higher
- JDBC Adapter 6.5 or higher, and SAP Adapter 7.1 or higher
- Strong knowledge of direct (AS2) and use of VANs to exchange EDI data
- Strong knowledge of EDI structures
- Experience working with business users, effectively communicating with them often in a positive and professional manner
- Team attitude, proactive approach to complete project efficiently
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- EDI business documents include purchase orders, invoices, ASNs, chargeback
