Weblogic Server Administrator Job

WEBLOGIC SERVER ADMINISTRATOR needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- THIS IS A WEBLOGIC SERVER ADMINISTRATION AND APPLICATION SUPPORT POSITION - This position will serve as a member of the Middleware Web Services team in the IT Operations Division.
- This position is responsible for administration and support of WebLogic application Servers (11g/12c) in AIX/UNIX and Windows.
- Will also be responsible for JEE administrative Scripting (Jython, WLST) to automate routine tasks (not application development).
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be a team player.
- Will participate in an after hours on-call rotation every 11 to 12 weeks.
- There is a strong possibility of an extension.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- WebLogic Scripting Language (WLST) experience is required.
- Required eight plus (8+) years of experience as a recent WebLogic administrator (preferred in a multi-tiered, clustered environment).
- Required strong Scripting experience in WLST and Jython.
- Administrative experience with Windows and UNIX.
- In-depth experience troubleshooting JEE applications in a clustered environment.
- Knowledge and experience with HTML, JAVA, JavaScript, HTTP, HTTPS.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and network technologies.
