On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a WEBLOGIC ENGINEER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Implement and integrate Oracle WebLogic Application Server "RTS (Run Time Stack)" components
- Document, automate and optimize all relevant systems, components and processes
- Deployment and configuration of applications on application Servers
- Understanding client code including EJB2/3, JSP, Servlets, struts
- Configuration JDBC resources, data sources and bounding to the Java EE applications
- Configuration the connection pools for the data sources
- Creation the JMS Server, JMS Connection Factories, Queues, FileStore and Message Bridges
- Conducting quality and performance analyses of the WebLogic infrastructure and its environment
- Implementing, providing project assistance and organizing the automatic deployment of the WebLogic component
- Creating WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) scripts as well as adjustments to the application scripts to improve installation of project requirements
- Documenting features, technical specifications & infrastructure requirements
- Supporting and consulting application developers and users regarding the WebLogic infrastructure and technical system
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Oracle WebLogic Application Server (10.x/12.x)
- Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
- Remedy ITSM 6/ITSM 7
- Monitoring tool: i3, Patrol
- SPLUNK adaption
- Linux (Redhat)
- Solaris
- UNIX
