Weblogic Application Server Administrator

Our direct client in Austin, TX is looking for a WebLogic Application Server Administrator. This is a contract position (initially 6 months) with extensions being highly likely.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience with installation and configuration of WebLogic, SOA, and OSB
- Experience migrating applications/services to UAT and production environments
- Configuring and administrating clustered domains
- Configuring data sources, JMS modules and other messaging services
- Developing WLST scripts
- Documenting standard operating processes and procedures
- Performance tuning and day-to-day troubleshooting of load balanced WebLogic Servers across environments
- Monitoring WebLogic managed Servers and applications deployed on it like Web Services, BPELs and MDBs
- Ensuring high availability of environments

PREFERENCES:

- Creating detailed designs for application and technical architecture components
- Working with other developers, analysts, architects and infrastructure teams to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet business and system requirements
- Experience in analysis and resolution of complex problems.
