Web UI, UX Designer/Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a WEB UI, UX DESIGNER/DEVELOPER to join our client in Seattle, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Programs online, mobile-capable, and/or desktop user interfaces for a variety of platforms
- Implements tracking and measurement technology on developed applications
- Implements performance and search engine optimization best practices
- Develops professional-level dynamic websites-portfolio desired with Resume

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proficient with HTML5/CSS3 development and best practices
- Expert understanding of limitations of devices and browsers
- Proficient understanding of site optimization best practices
- Expert-level understanding of JavaScript development with multiple frameworks and best practices, including commonly used libraries (jQuery, Backbone, etc.)
- Expert-level knowledge of XML/JSON
- Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming with languages such as C# or Java
- Ability to understand the client's web design requirements and to verbally communicate them to the rest of the team
- Experience in Agile software development such as Scrum or Kanban required
- Proven ability to work with standard graphics management packages such as Adobe Photoshop, as well as serve as a consultative resource for designers and user experience architects on the feasibility of interface designs (expert)
- Well versed in web services
- Expert-level familiarity with debugging issues and providing solutions
- Familiarity with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio 2012, Eclipse, and version control systems such as SVN, GitHub, and TFS required

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Mobile experience is a huge plus
- Experience on enterprise applications is a huge plus
