Web Services Software Engineer

MUST HAVE SKILLS: Must have 7+ years of experience with J2EE development experience, web application development experience with 4+ years using frameworks like Spring/Struts/Grails. Experience with design and development of Restful web services. Candidates also must have experience with JavaScript based frameworks like Angular or D2 and experience with AJAX/JQUERY. Must also have experience in the agile methodology.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Design and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems and interfaces using J2EE and open source technologies - specifically Struts/J AVA/JSP/JSF/Spring/Ajax/JQuery/TagLibs and JDBC. Analyze requirements and design workflows and database schemas. Work on both Server Side and UI-side modules of MVC architecture. Design and develop web applications, web services API, Java processes, reports, and reporting applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university
- 7+ years experience designing and developing Java and JEE applications and struts based web applications using MVC architecture
- Extensive experience in design and development of REST based services
- Extensive experience (5 years) with MVC framework architectures like STRUTS or JSF or Spring (must have)
- Expertise in AJAX and AJAX/JavaScript libraries like JQUERY or PROTOTYPE (5+ years experience required)
- Extensive experience in design and development in PERL/UNIX is a major plus
- Extensive experience with Application Server like JBOSS, TomCat, or WebSphere
- Experience with DBMS like Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL
- Experience using development IDE like Eclipse, IntelliJ, or NetBeans
- Comfortable working in and leading a small, yet highly interactive/communicative, team
- XML parsing and XML schema design experience
- Deep understanding of SOA principles and Web Services technologies
- Experiencing in building Rest based web services
- Experience in the agile methodology a must
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with GRAILS a major plus when it comes to web application development frameworks
- Any experience that involved web applications and E-commerce preferred
