Web Services Software Engineer

Our client is the world's leading computer components brand seeking a strong SOFTWARE ENGINEER for an excellent contract opportunity. The project involves building a web service and tools that provide data analysis capabilities for a variety of data. It will also involve interfacing with existing open-source and third-party APIs.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The developer will be responsible for putting together the defined service/tools, understanding and integrating third-party applications/API/modules, and development/integration of services for implementing the above mentioned capabilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of related work experience, must include web services
- Expertise in web-based programming/API/Protocols/Json, Scripting languages like Perl
- Experience in C/C++/Java in a Windows environment
- Experience in database development
- Experience in interfacing with third-party APIs, open-source tools
- Familiarity with Matlab or R or Numpy
- Experience in developing visualizations, data-analysis, a plus
