Web Services Project Manager

Our client is a hugely popular web services provider seeking an experienced Project Manager/Website Editor to manage highly visible projects for their website. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role for a global leader in Cloud Computing.

The right candidate for this position is a highly motivated, extremely organized individual with experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. In this role you will work closely with service teams, design and development teams, and marketing managers around the world to identify customer and business needs and achieve web experience goals. In addition, you will utilize strong judgment and written communication skills to ensure quality control across the site as website editor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee website projects and manage master calendar of website requests/launches.
- Identify website content that needs localization and work with regional teams and localization PMs on content customization and localization quality.
- Liaise with content contributors and executive leadership on content creation, development, production, and approvals.
- Serve as website editor and site publisher to ensure quality control.
- Utilize basic HTML and CSS skills to deliver content updates within the Content Management System.
- Work directly with page owners on new website projects to gather requirements, identify deliverables, set expectations and achieve business objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of experience in related areas of project management or website production
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven experience in website project management, editing, and/or development
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, plus the ability to learn complex external or in-house systems quickly
- Experience with website management and CMS tools
- Basic knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques
- Clear, effective, and articulate writing style
- Excellent interpersonal communication and resource management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to fluently read and write in Simplified Chinese
- Knowledge of localization systems and workflows preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the technology field and a passion for cutting edge technologies
- Self-motivation and self-direction
- Knowledge of related web tools and best practices, such as website analytics tools, search engine optimization, use of social media, etc.
