WEB-SERVICES/JAVA DEVELOPER (M/F)

DESCRIPTION

This is a challenging role for a web-services/Java developer to join the Integrated Bank MIS team within the Financial Integrated Reporting (FIR) program. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both Web-Services and Java development..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working within a team to develop web services out of our federation layer based on Composite SW
- Maintain and develop as needed Java small Java programs and plug-ins.
- Design, create, document and test web services
- Design, create, document and test the web service security
- Design, create, document and test Java code (J2SE mainly)

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in web service development, 1 year of Java development experience.
- Professional, flexible and positive attitude.
- Demonstrates drive, energy and clarity of thinking in advancing change solutions in a complex environment
- Strong experience in web service development and related technologies (SOAP, XML, Xquery, Xpath, XSLT, WSDL)
- Experience in the development of contract-first web services
- Experience in web service security
- Experience in Java (J2SE) development
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, identify problems and seek solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter who can work effectively alone as well as with in a team
