Web Services Developer (SDE) Job

WEB SERVICES DEVELOPER (SDE) needed for a 12 months CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's gaming client located in REDMOND, WA.

- Looking for candidates with a technical background and an APTITUDE FOR BIG-DATA STORAGE AND LARGE-SCALE SERVICES, PREFERABLY ON CLOUD PLATFORMS

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- WEB SERVICES DEVELOPER ( SDE) will be responsible for owning the development of feature areas, implementing and executing automated unit testing, writing design documentation, and debugging and investigating issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- At least six (6) years' experience with C#, JAVA, PYTHON OR SOME OTHER HIGH-LEVEL PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE
- THREE (3+) YEARS OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE IN WEB APPLICATIONS OR SERVICES
- Strong coding, debugging, algorithm design and problem solving skills
- A passion for creating quality gaming and entertainment experiences
- Familiarity with (No-SQL) big-data storage concepts
- A working knowledge of Relational databases (preferably MSSQL)
- BS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Track record of driving feature work to completion at high quality

BONUS POINTS! PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with WINDOWS AZURE (AND AZURE STORAGE) OR OTHER CLOUD COMPUTING PLATFORMS
- Experience building large-scale services
- Experience building RESTful Web Services
- Experience with Search engines
- Experience building on .Net
- Experience with scrum/agile
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle
