Web Security Specialist

I am urgently looking for a WEB SECURITY SPECIALIST in Brussels. This is a long term project with great rates. If you have a good experience in web security, and you dealt with cyber attacks before, please continue reading!

CONTEXT: Role in IT Security Team (applications, networks, data centers, etc.)
You will be involved in the configuration and maintenance of the Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to prevent and respond to web attacks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Configuring the Web Application Firewalls system parameters and security rules.
-Setting up the monitoring of security attacks to web applications.
-Reacting to web security attacks, proposing and implementing counter-measures.
-Defining new risk mitigation strategies and implementing them via WAF workflows.
-Being aware of the last security threats, vulnerabilities and possible counter-measures.
-Working with cross functional teams including application development, infrastructure and performance.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Good knowledge of the following application protocols and mark-up languages: HTTP, XML, AJAX, JSON.
-Familiar with web application frameworks and technologies: JEE, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Drupal, etc.
-Familiar with authentication mechanisms and web services architectures.
-Familiar with cloud environments: AWS, Azzure, Google, etc.
-Good knowledge of Linux OS and regular expressions.
-Good knowledge of security policies and best practices.

PERSONAL SKILLS:
-Able to work in a team with a certain degree of initiative.
-Able to work with critical production environments.
-Able to anticipate, identify, and respond to security attacks.
-Organized and process oriented.

LANGUAGE
Fluent in English and French
