WEB PRODUCT MANAGER: DK TRAVEL & ROUGH GUIDES

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Web Product Manager to manage the development backlog of two exciting web travel products. The role holder will work closely with the relevant business owner/s, design and development colleagues to prioritise and envision the product backlog,

The successful candidate will put our customers at the heart of their thinking, use analysis and consumer feedback to drive development as well as their knowledge of web technology and trends and excellent competitor awareness.

We are looking for someone who is a collaborative team player and who blends strong technical skills and experience with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at to stakeholders of all levels and with varying technical knowledge. You will be a confident and clear communicator, equally good at listening, able to challenge and ask questions even where you aren't an expert. You must have experience of translating high level business vision in to user stories and technical requirements, have written test scripts and have launched new products/site enhancements across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience of developing a PHP/WordPress site
- A good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Excellent communication and organisational skill
- Advanced knowledge of search engine optimisation and web standards, usabiliity and web accessibility
- Ability to use and interpret web analytics packages and data, Site Catalyst and Google Analytics
- Active member of web forums
- Good creative solutions problem solver

RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll need to be a master of organisation, have agile product owner and/or project management experience, be calm under pressure and have proven ability to prioritise effectively.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate relevant examples of lateral thinking and problem solving and where they have identified opportunities that have enhanced customer experience and/or driven site loyalty.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of product managing a consumer website in an environment where they worked directly with developers and designers as well as non-technical business stakeholders and must be able to demonstrate awareness of cutting edge web and mobile technologies and trends.

This role is a 6 month initial contract, full time, office based (central London)
