Web Ops Web Operations required to support a digital service project for a Government organisation based in London.

This role is for a hands on web ops specialist working as part of the development team, applicants must have experience configuring web and application Servers and possess a fundamental understanding of Linux. In addition candidates will have previous experience supporting a large production platform.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in an out of hours on-call rota and possess the following skills.

-Understanding of common web application architectures
-Experience configuring and managing Linux Servers
-Scripting or basic programming skills
-Familiarity with network protocols - TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc.
-Experience of Salt Stack
-Experience of open source technologies.
-Deploying, configuring and managing machines in a Cloud environment
-Configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef.
