WEB Infra Engineer

Motivation:
The Web infra engineer manages the IT Webserver environment. The web environment services many mission critical applications in a 7x24 environment.
S/He also supports the Google search and Single SignOn solutions for web applications.

Deliverables:

Management
- Manage the Intranet Back End of the clients, based on Unix (Solaris) in a 7x24 environment.
- Manage web environment and application Servers, based on Unix (Solaris) and Linux (Redhat) in a 7x24 environment.
- Maintain authentication and authorization server in a 7x24 environment.
- Support infrastructure for Single SignOn for web applications.
- Translate business needs into standard IT solutions.
- Project support: provide technical advise to projects and guard the clients standards
- Process enhancement towards 1st and 2nd line support teams which are outsourced to a third party.
- Advise on improvements on new and existing IT infrastructure ideas and changes.
- Knowledge in how the IT infrastructure is used by the departments.
- Execute changes according to ITIL Process.
- Solve incidents and prevent them where possible by a pro-active attitude.
- Supporting activities like reporting and documentation.

Roadmap
- Discuss improvements on new and existing IT infrastructure ideas and changes with the Enterprise Architect.

Job/Role Description:
The unix/linux engineer supports the IT Web infrastructure, with knowledge of LDAP and SSO.
The web environment services many mission critical applications in a 7x24 environment.

Specials:
Experience:
Required:
- At least 3-5 years professional experience in a Unix/Linux server environment.
- Several years experience of management on: Apache, LDAP, common network topology and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, ftp, DNS, https), Perl, Reverse proxies, Tomcat, RSA Cleartrust/NetIQ Access Manager (SSO).

Preferable:
- SunOne Web Server/directory server, Google search
